Drive equipment life extension programs to assess risks and implement component improvements to increase the availability of the equipment via extensions to maintenance intervals and/or reduced outage durations Develop gas turbine inventory/materials optimization program, to reduce cost associated with gas turbine parts.  Deploy gas turbine parts repair strategy to reduce overhaul cost related to materials and new parts.  Deploy gas turbine parts repair surveillance program to limit risk associated with component repairs. Advise on staffing, tooling, equipment, materials, best practices, etc. and assess gaps and highlight improvements to GT maintenance procedures.  Provide continuity between teams to ensure transfer of key information takes place and lessons learned are utilized to continuously improve business performance. Liaise with Chevron Power & Pipeline (CPP) team to utilize knowledge and resources to support as required. Work closely with Turnaround and Maintenance teams to improve gas turbine overhauls to meet or exceed industry duration and cost benchmarks.  Support detailed planning and assurance reviews as driven by of Initiative for Managing PACesetter Turnarounds (IMPACT) process requirements.  Leverage Chevron fleet and other operators experience where appropriate. Manage equipment upgrades and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Technical Information Letters and Service Bulletins. Ensure appropriate prioritization and execution of these OEM initiated changes and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input into Management of Change (MOC)’s and support implementation as needed. Implement global best practices across all Chevron Australia Assets.  Work with Joint Venture (JV) partners, Energy Technology Company (ETC), Chevron Power & Pipeline (CPP) other Chevron business units and other users to pre-emptively manage issues Coordinate with Chevron Australia Reliability Team and OEM on Bad Actor elimination via Surface Equipment Reliability and Integrity Process (SERIP) processes and drive maintenance implementation.  Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input into Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major issues and support implementation of resulting improvement processes. Provide SME support to the Operations site teams and Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics (RM&D) resources to develop procedures to assess the current condition of equipment and respond to anomalies proactively to prevent equipment issues and trips. Drive re-negotiations of contracts with Contracts team and OEM to determine work scopes and materials needed for routine maintenance and various upgrades needed to improve equipment performance Coaching and mentoring key maintenance personnel to build functional GT organisational capability Evaluate Gas Turbine training solutions to ensure it is targeted to individuals needs and relevant to specific roles and establish competency standards. Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices     Key skills and experience required:   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Minimum of 15 years experience with General Electric (GE) frame 7 and 9 gas turbines with a minimum of 5 years as an OEM Field Service Engineer conducting gas turbine overhauls. Minimum of 10 years’ experience and considered a “go to” Subject Matter Expert associated with maintenance planning and execution of gas turbines, including combustion, hot gas path and major inspections.
