Material Coordinator

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to plan and execute all those activities principally concerned with the flow of materials into the organization. This will be delivered in line with company values and in accordance with Santos Management System.
 
Accountabilities:
 
  • Apply thinking in area of expertise – deliver plans and work as directed aligning to the company’s strategy
  • Understands change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
  • Understands team purpose and role accountabilities that need to be delivered
  • Contributes to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directed
  • Effective and timely collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Upholds and ensures compliance with all company standards and processes.
  • Ensures compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behavior consistent with Company’s environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards
  • Delivery of standards, objectives and plans in area of expertise
  • Review operational plans and execute actions required to ensure an unbroken supply of materials to the stakeholder base.
  • Support supply chain initiatives focused on the minimization of working capital, obsolescence and material costs. 
  • Support the delivery of integrated supply chain solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Assist broader supply chain team to ensure supplier performance in line with cost, delivery and quality targets.
  • Support coordination of stocktaking and disposal processes for facilities and 3rd party vendor locations
  • Provide assistance and materials expertise for ERP system related queries
  • Help facilitate materials related end of well and project reconciliation activities
  • Leverage reporting and analytics capabilities to proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • Santos Supply Chain Procedure and Santos Inventory Procedure
 
Qualifications & Experience:
