FPSO Operations & Management Consultant - ITB Drafting

General Description:

1. The Operations and Management Consultant will be assigned to the Block - Offshore Vietnam as a Client direct hire performing the duties outlined below.
2. The Operations and management Consultant reports to the Client FPSO Team leader, and shall be responsible for providing operations and management advice and consultancy in the preparation of the FPSO ITB.
3. The Operations and Management Consultant shall be located in Perth Australia or Client’s HCMC offices as required Scope of Work:

The Operations and Management Consultant shall be responsible for the following work activities:

• Draft the Shipside Scope and Specifications for conversion of the DONOR Vessel
• Draft comprehensive Operations & Maintenance Requirements for TLJOC review
• Define Tender evaluation criteria for Shipside Scope and O&M
• Review Topsides facilities Scope and Specifications
• Review Topsides Evaluation Criteria
• Review other ITB documents are required
• Travel as required (Minimal)

Work experience requirement

• Minimum 5 years experience as a General Manager
• Minimum 10 years experience as an Operation Manager
• Minimum 20 years experience working in oilfield production operations
• Experienced in projects and production operations;
• Direct experience in the management of a major FPSO contracts
• Maintenance and process engineering experience
• In-depth experience of Classification Society standards;
• Sound understanding of codes and standards applicable to the marine and hydrocarbon storage and processing facility environment. Education Requirement
• Degree qualified with an engineering degree or relevant experience
• Recognized member of a professional institution Special Skills / Other Comments
• Proficient computer skills with modern day PC application packages
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control background
• Knowledge of the Vietnamese Law and functioning of a Joint Operating Company / Production Sharing Contractor in Vietnam will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to openly communicate with team members, senior management.
