Description: The Senior Application Developer will lead/participate in the design and architecture of custom .NET and cloud platform applications to meet business needs. They will also research and recommend new technologies as they become available along with using ConocoPhillips change management processes to prevent disruptions and outages Responsibilities may include: Develop highly complex and high quality custom .NET applications in the leveraged .Net web application environment, following ConocoPhillips standards and best practices Develop high quality applications in the cloud platform environment (hpaPaaS), following ConocoPhillips standards and best practices Using ConocoPhillips change management processes to prevent disruptions and outages Working with Business Analysts and Solution Integrators to understand business requirements in order to provide timely assessments and create technical designs Creating and updating documentation for ongoing support of web applications Researching and recommending solutions that best meet the business needs and Enterprise operational requirements Coordinating with other IT organizations to deliver innovative solutions to the business Overseeing the support and maintenance of assigned applications to ensure a high-level of quality and efficiency Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures outlined in the ConocoPhillips Management System Qualifications: Basic/Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Information Technology or other related technical discipline 5 years of experience working with relational databases (SQL/Oracle) Intermediate proficiency with the following technologies: Visual Studio .NET 3.5, 4.0 ASP.Net C# High Productivity and Automation platforms (i.e. Mendix and/or UI Path) Basic proficiency in source control practices and patterns (Git workflow, branching/merging, etc.) Ability and willingness to provide day-to-day 24x7 application support Preferred: Legally authorized to work in the United States Basic knowledge of reporting tools (SQL Reporting Services, SpotFire, Business Objects) Experience in conducting design reviews for object oriented or service based design Experience working with virtual teams Experience with test-driven development 1 years of experience with AD/LDAP Advanced level of knowledge with SQL and stored procedure development knowledge Basic knowledge of single sign-on technologies Proficient with: WinForms/WPF, WCF, Windows Workflow Foundation, MVC, AJAX, jQuery, jSON, XSL, XSLT, Infragistics/Telerik, XML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, HTML, IIS 6-7.5, MS Office suite including collaboration w/ OneNote, Team Foundation Server 2008, 2012, EntitiyFramework, NHibernate or equivalent technology Ability to review and provide accurate estimates, create and review technical designs, create and read UML Diagrams Ability to plan and carrying out responsibilities with minimal direction Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in fast pace environment supporting internal and external customers Ability to mentor and coach developers on technical issues Ability to create and read UML Diagrams Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, working closely with users, business analysts and project managers Ability to mentor and coach developers on technical issues Ability and willingness to travel occasionally Scrum Master Certification or equivalent Assist supervisor with interviews and on-boarding Basic knowledge of mobile development Maintain and review existing application portfolio with Business Partner(s) and ADSLT Involvement in the full application lifecycle Provide feedback for the team to the Supervisor and Team Lead Lead/coordinate code reviews Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable, and standing up for what is right Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical To be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of November 12, 2018 .
