Description: ConocoPhillips Information Technology (IT) provides technical services to the ConocoPhillips network. In this position you will be a team member on a cross-functional enterprise infrastructure operations team that supports the Bartlesville, Oklahoma location. Responsibilities may include: Perform build/rebuild of desktops, laptops, tablets and phones Perform installation, troubleshooting and repair of computing, phone and network devices for on-site support to end users Perform troubleshooting and repair of data & voice network cable systems Maintain IT Hardware asset/inventory tracking in accordance with team processes & procedures Participates in small local projects and participates in global IT and Telecommunications initiatives Partner with Global Service Desk and central support groups such as Global Telecom and Printer support teams to provide seamless support to end user community Provides training and consultation to end users Provides expertise in the selection of standard hardware and software solutions to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs Effectively communicate and assist customers in an audience appropriate manner Partner with other non-IT service groups on small to medium structured cabling projects Partner with other service groups within ConocoPhillips IT Operations in providing seamless service delivery Qualifications: Basic/Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States 1 years of direct experience in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems 1 years of direct experience in troubleshooting and supporting LAN/WAN technologies 1 years of direct experience in IT or Telecommunications support role Able to lift 30 lbs Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related discipline 1 years of direct experience in installing and supporting structured cabling systems Knowledge of a broad range of technologies including: WAN/LAN, COE Desktop, Core Business Applications, and Desktop Products Excellent verbal and written communication skills with direct customer interaction Ability to work well with local and global teams Willingness to continually learn Willing to participate in call-out as needed Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment To be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of November 15, 2018 .
