Job Overview Do you thrive on forecasting, scheduling, logistics and analytics? Reporting to the manager, demand forecast operations, you will be accountable for demand forecasting accuracies and logistics services in the regional municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Key Accountabilities Support the integration and collaboration across cross-functional teams (CFT) Provide and maintain support for contractor travel coordinators to align with the field logistics business unit expectations Meet regularly with internal partners to drive forecast variances down by providing information regarding forecast submissions, historical data, variances, etc. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding of new forecasters Review and stewardship of contractor aviation forecast demand data for submission to Suncor Aircraft scheduling. Research and report capabilities to support ongoing improvement and development of existing policies and programs as they relate to lodge and aviation demand forecasting Participate in monthly meetings with third party coordinators to review and update field logistics operational requirements and develop alignment of process expectations through-out the region Required Qualifications Experience and Education: Five to seven years of experience in a relevant field (administration, travel, hospitality, logistics) Prior experience with remote, site based, and large scale project work Post-secondary degree or diploma Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record Skills and Knowledge: Strong computer skills, including SAP, Excel and Word Self-starter with strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset Knowledge and understanding of current processes and procedures in Field Logistics You possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate with the team in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value You are highly motivated and committed to providing exceptional customer service Working Conditions This is a camp-based position The shift schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off rotation You thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, challenging demands, and targets Why Suncor?
