We are looking for a Cloud Architect/Full Stack Engineer to drive strategic outcomes and technical direction of the enterprise cloud platform.  You will use your excellent communication skills to guide and influence an extended team of service providers to ensure excellence in design, delivery and support of the cloud platform

 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work in partnership with the Cloud Transformation Manager, Cloud Engineers, Service Providers and Business Consultants to ensure solution design aspects are consistent with Digital technology vision and roadmap
  • Coordinate and/or perform solution architecture in support of the cloud platform and delivery of initiatives on the platform
  • Co-ordinate technical resources in the cloud team to ensure excellence in design, delivery and support of the cloud platform
  • Work closely with the Cloud Transformation Manager to provide a clear picture of state of cloud platform
  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, inspire team members and other Digital peers on cloud platform and architecture
  • Develop strong working relationships across Digital and within the Business to support and enable Digital’s business strategy and priorities 
  • Advise and undertake cloud engineering activities where required
  • Provide expert quality assurance and advice around all aspects of cloud solution architecture and use of cloud computing
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement in cloud delivery & operational processes
  • Find new opportunities by staying abreast of industry trends and disrupters and how they can be applied at Woodside

 

 

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in technical hands on cloud IaaS, platform architecture, design and delivery
  • Good understanding of both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, architecture, delivery and support
  • Possesses strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Previous experience working in senior technical infrastructure roles and DevOps development
  • Hold AWS Cloud Certifications
  • Previous experience in managing small teams would be advantageous
  • Experience with multiple cloud providers (eg. GCP, MS Azure) favourable
