As a key member of the Projects Supply Chain team, you will support the contract management activities and supplier relationship management activities for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Upstream Projects team at Oil Sands Base Plant. You will use your expertise to:Develop contracting plans by coordinating and communicating with various partners and conducting competitive RFP processes; you will administer the formation of contracts and service agreements all the way through to completion and close out Ensure contractor invoices are in compliance with established procedures and certify/approve them Apply a change management process for contracts, ensuring documentation is coordinated with the functional groups Build, implement and maintain tracking systems and ensure signing authorities are adhered to for commitments; ensure the assembly and maintenance of contract records Assist in the preparation of claims defense cases and communicate potential impacts and contract information as required Coordinate with contractors and project management to ensure all contractual obligations are met and to complete performance assessments prior to closeout, while supporting the warranty management process Support continuous improvement activities across the Contract Management function We’d like to review your application if you have… Must-haves (minimum requirements):Three years of experience in a Supply Chain role Demonstrated skills in contract management and contract/procurement law, and a deep understanding of the interfaces within project teams Advanced technology skills with specific experience in Excel, SAP and Livelink The ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; your time management and analytical skills are exceptional Demonstrated collaboration skills across diverse groups and multi-disciplinary teams Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing Preference for:Familiarity in supplier integration and supplier relationship management Post-secondary education in business or supply chain management Experience working in a combination of contract administration and procurement roles, both in an operations and projects environment Experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
